The late Kasap Kara Mehmet, a well-known butcher from Afyonkarahisar, named his newly opened butcher shop "Cumhuriyet Kasabı" (Republic Butcher) in the 1920s, reflecting the sentiments of that era.
Cumhuriyet Butcher Shop meets the meat needs of the people of Afyonkarahisar, and the soudjouk meticulously prepared by Kara Mehmet results in a truly delicious formula.
The fame of the soudjouks made by Kara Mehmet first spread in Afyonkarahisar, and over time, throughout Turkey. Cumhuriyet Soudjouks have now become an undeniably delicious treat .
After the death of butcher Kara Mehmet, his sons Ahmet and Ömer Kocaşaban worked tirelessly day and night to establish the Cumhuriyet soudjouk brand, thereby winning over the hearts of the people with both Afyonkarahisar soudjouk and the Cumhuriyet brand.
